Our Story

Irawo Patriotic Development Initiative was founded under the visionary leadership of Oba Olalere Ademola Musiliu (Asaaju I), the Paramount Ruler of Irawoland. Registered as a corporate body on July 8, 2026 (CAC Registration #9665141), IPDI emerged from a deep commitment to address the developmental challenges facing our community while preserving and celebrating our rich cultural heritage.

Irawoland is an ancient and historically prosperous Yoruba settlement located in Atisibo Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. Known for its:

  • Deep cultural heritage and traditional institutions
  • Strong communal values rooted in respect for leadership and unity
  • Rich traditions combining indigenous beliefs with Christianity and Islam
  • Historical reliance on agriculture, trade, and communal cooperation

IPDI operates as a non-governmental organization (NGO), philanthropic body, and interest group. We serve as a central institution for:

  • Environmental management and sustainable resource use
  • Community development and social welfare
  • Advisory and verification roles in community security and safety
  • Collaboration with governments, private sectors, and international organizations
